Rodder Life is a show about Rodders's and Hot Rods, Drag Racing, Rodders Hobbies, their families, Rod Runs, Cruise Nights, Technical Tips, the current generation, the next generation and the last generation of Rodders.

Rodders Life is produced out of Melbourne, Victoria Austraiia by a small band of rodders and their freinds. The aim is to showcase the "Rodding Life". with all manner of thumping Rods, Kool Kustoms and Classics, the Characters who are involved with building and driving these wonderful creations.

Selected major events are attended on regular basis around Australian featured on the Rodding and Car Culture Calendar! We will also be focusing on Rodders Garages and Homes, Life Styles and other interests. Be prepared for some truly amazing things; as well as the exciting sites and sounds of this great past time.

The Rodders Life Team

Michael Dascoli

Background: Panel beater, spray painter and custom car builder. Michael Dascoli is credited with creating this concept and applying it to a TV audience 5 years ago establishing Kanga Television Productions.
Michael also narrates, directs and Produces Rodder’s Life. With the help from outsourced editors, Michael is also responsible for the final edited version for TV.

John Dascoli

Background: Electrician, hot rod builder. John Dascoli is Michael’s older brother
And like his younger sibling is a hot rod and custom car builder having built award winning hot rods since the seventies. John also helps out with the show, traveling to events around the country interviewing Rodders and generally helping out with the logistics.

Michael ‘Moose’ Mancini

Background: Motor Mechanic, custom car builder. For the last 3 years Michael has been an invaluable acquisition to the show having previously been involved with touring bands as a sound technician. His love and knowledge of building hot rods and custom cars had Michael join the production team at rodders Life and has been behind the camera obtaining footage since its inception.


Vincent De Rossi

Background: Photographic Journalist. Senior writer for Australia’s top selling drag racing magazine appropriately titled Australian Drag Racing Magazine. Vincent also for the last four years has been in the for front of the hot rod movement writing feature articles for Cruizin magazine a dedicated magazine that not only caters for the hot rodders and custom car builders but are responsible also for the Nostalgic Drag Racing Series that sees competition style racing in all Australia’s Capital cities.

Mark Stephenson

New to the Team and Principal of Infusion Concept Enterprises (ICE)
Mark offers team support to Kanga Television Productions and Rodders Life; his skills are in Brand Development, Multimedia Marketing Concepts, Business Services and Presentation.

Mark gained Diploma of Illustrated Photography in 1990 and has since studied Multimedia to Diploma level.

A family man and life long fan of Motor Sport, V8’s and Motor Cycles his passions of late has been on developing ‘The V8 SuperTour as a significant motor sport support and enthusiast event designed as a regional support to the V8 Supercar Phillip Island 500.

It was through networking this event Mark connected with Michael and Rodders Life to explore common enthusiast interests, this lead to Mark building the Rodders Life web site and acting as the Webmaster since this sites launch in Sept 2007.

Leanne Bernhard

Background: Sales Professional, Drag Racer, Vic Co coordinator of the Australian Women’s Motorsport Network.

Leanne Began with Rodder’s Life in Nov of 2006, and every month interviews women in the motor sport or car scene for a new segment called Rodder’s Wife.
She also goes to Rod Runs and Car events, interviews rod owners and also narrates from time to time. Leanne is also a Drag Racer and runs regularly at Heathcote Park in Victoria and Calder park raceway.Her experience in Drag Racing and association with the Australian Women’s Motorsport Network is of value to Rodders Life, we look foward to enjoying Leanne's support again once the new baby and family allow.
